Teaching Kids To MakeBack to MainPage, MiscellaneousStuff. In his TED2009 talk, and in a comic-style illustrated piece entitled 'Tinkering School', Gever Tulley shares his work teaching kids through hands-on design and implementation, using power-tools under supervision to build their ideas. Link: http://www.tinkeringschool.com/blog/2009/ted-2009/ Power-tools aren't the focus of the 'school'; creativity, self-confidence and process are. But I'm sure the kids enjoy being given some self-responsibility as well.
